BC Hockey Academy is a not-for-profit organization that is focused solely on providing skill development opportunities for minor hockey players.    Providing a structured program that includes skating fundamentals, explosive speed elements, shooting, puck control, positional play, game skills and overall hockey strategy, each player will experience an elite level of instruction while meeting new friends, and making memories that will last a lifetime.

Whether you are joining the "Introduction to Hockey" program, or preparing for "AAA" tryouts, the BCHA program provides the skill development and individualized instruction to meet your goals in a fun, safe and encouraging environment.

Our academy sessions are divided by age and division categories.  On the first day of your session we will evaluate your individual skills to ensure you are placed with the appropriate group, and to ensure you are able to realize your maximum potential.

BC Hockey Academy coaching staff are Hockey Canada Certified and are considered the leaders in hockey instruction in B.C.   Having the right number of on-ice and off-ice instructors is one of the priorities that separates BCHA from other hockey "schools and camps".  It is not uncommon to find a 1:6 ratio of coaches to players at BCHA depending on the skills under instruction
